About Us Katzman-Grossman & Associates was founded in 1967 by Mike Katzman and Stan Grossman. Mike and Stan were both employees of one of the oldest and largest rep firms in the Midwest. With a strong desire to have their own company, they received a commitment from Star Manufacturing and they started what is today a well respected and successful organization serving the foodservice and hospitality industry. Mike and Stan retired in 1990 and 1995 respectively. Also in 1990 the company name became what it is today, Katzman-Grossman-Baker, Inc. In 1995 Tom Grossman and Steve Baker became majority owners of the company and are proud to carry on the excellent traditions of the founders. To that end we are committed to "Long Term" relations with the manufacturers we represent and the foodservice equipment dealers that we service. Katzman-Grossman-Baker, Inc. has represented our manufacturers for an average of over 22 years.
Our Mission "Represent a small number of high quality manufacturers that are industry leaders in their field". Katzman-Grossman-Baker, Inc. is an independent manufacturing representative organization that serves the foodservice and hospitality industries. We are the link between the dealers and the factories that we represent (not a middle man, a partner.) We handle customer service issues, equipment and furniture specifications, as well as the product training for the equipment specialists at the dealerships we service and partner with. |
